First Eucharist is celebrated at least three months after the celebration of First Reconciliation.  Children must at least be in the second grade and have participated for two years in a religious education program at an area Catholic school or our Parish School of Religion program prior to celebrating the sacrament for the first time. The family must be registered in our parish for at least six months and actively practicing their faith by regular Mass participation.

A program created to deepen parents’ understanding of Eucharist and assist them with their child’s preparation for the sacrament is provided by our parish.  Parents are required to attend preparation and formation sessions during the month of February and participate in a retreat with their child in April.

First Eucharist is usually celebrated at the 10:30am Mass in early May.
